Medical-grade protocols for Lowcountry skin — glass finish, real correction, and a monthly rhythm worth keeping.
Our facials are medical, not retail. Six protocols cover three jobs: immediate glow before an event (GLACE), long-term skin quality (GLO2, microneedling), and correction of congestion, texture or pigment (dermaplaning, peels). Every one is provider-supervised at 263 King Street.
Injectables get the attention, but skin quality is what people actually read when they look at you. Tone, clarity, the way light sits on a cheek — none of that comes from a syringe, and all of it responds to consistency.
So we built a menu around a monthly rhythm rather than dramatic one-off appointments. Skin renews on roughly a 28-day cycle; treating with that cycle compounds, while treating twice a year does very little. Our members choose one signature treatment each month for exactly this reason.
Charleston complicates it. Humidity keeps pores congested, salt air pulls moisture out, and the sun here does not take a season off — so pigment and dehydration arrive together in a way they do not in a drier climate. Every protocol below is adjusted for that, and every one of them ends with sunscreen.

Explore →An event on Saturday means GLACE or a signature facial — hydration and light, no peeling, no risk.
Microneedling, GLO2 and PDRN change how your skin behaves. Slower, cumulative, and what actually preserves.
Congestion, acne, pigment and rough texture need extractions and peels — the unglamorous work that makes everything else look better.

We treat skin as a medical surface, not a retail opportunity. Every protocol is provider-supervised and every plan is written to compound.
GLACE, GLO2, the Society Signature Facial, microneedling, dermaplaning with extractions, an acne facial, or any chemical peel we offer — members choose one each month. Founding memberships are $359.
The Society of Preservation offers the Society Signature Facial, GLACE by Candela (our glass skin facial), GLO2 by Geneo (The Preservation), microneedling, dermaplaning with steam and extractions, chemical peels, and an acne facial with extractions. All are performed at 263 King Street in downtown Charleston.
Monthly. Skin turns over on roughly a 28-day cycle, so a monthly treatment works with that rhythm rather than against it — which is exactly why the Society Circle membership includes one signature treatment each month.
If you want immediate glow before an event, GLACE. If you want long-term skin quality, GLO2 or microneedling. If you have congestion or acne, dermaplaning with extractions or an acne facial. Unsure is a perfectly good answer — your provider will choose at your first visit.
Yes. Every protocol is provider-supervised and uses medical-grade products and devices — Candela, Geneo, Circadia, Hydrinity, Plated, Epicutis — rather than retail skincare. That is the difference between a spa facial and a medical facial.
Humidity keeps pores congested and salt air is dehydrating, while year-round UV drives pigment. That combination means Charleston skin usually needs more consistent exfoliation and pigment management than the same skin would elsewhere, and our protocols are built for it.
Yes, though the order matters. We generally treat with a facial first and inject afterwards, or space them a week apart. Your provider will sequence your appointments safely.
